Ray Zavesky made a beautiful series of shapes and patterns on Behance:

I felt I just HAD to animate them, but I couldn't get the files from him, so I went on to redo them for animation purposes. I found some exciting stock music and made a storyboard, where the first rule was to explore these shapes. How might they begin and develop during the film? Would they die in the end and how would that come to pass?

Such a challenging and exciting journey!
